Privacy Policy

In short:

  • We collect only what is needed to make lessons and play them on your TV.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. We do not sell your data.
  • Your lessons are private to your account.
  • You can delete your account and lessons in the app at any time.

1. Who we are

TellyClass ("we", "us") provides the TellyClass apps for phones and Android TV / Google TV and the website tellyclass.com. Questions about this policy: support@tellyclass.com.

2. What we collect

Your account

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and profile photo (if any) from that provider. They are kept by our sign-in service (Firebase Authentication) and shown only to you in Settings. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your email; we then receive a relay address.

Lessons you create

Usage counters

How much storage you use and how many read-aloud voices you created each day, so we can apply the limits described in our Terms.

TVs and devices

What we do not collect

We do not use advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools, and we do not collect your location, contacts or browsing history. Our hosting providers keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to run and secure their services.

3. How we use your data

Only to provide TellyClass: sign you in, store and sync your lessons, play them on your TV, create read-aloud audio, enforce limits and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your content to train AI models.

4. Who processes your data

These providers may process data outside your country. We rely on their standard contractual and security commitments.

5. Phone and TV on your local network

On the same Wi-Fi, your phone talks directly to your TV. Only phones that entered the TV's one-time code (or scanned its QR code) can control it, and repeated wrong codes are blocked. The TV announces itself on the network with its name so your phone can find it. Use TellyClass on Wi-Fi networks you trust.

You can turn these off in your phone's settings. Related features will stop working.

8. Children

TellyClass is for parents and teachers. Children watch lessons on the TV but do not create accounts or use the phone app. We do not knowingly let children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) create an account. Lessons may contain photos or voices of children added by an adult; they stay private to that adult's account. If you believe a child created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

You can see and edit your lessons in the app and delete them or your whole account at any time. To ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or other requests under the law that applies to you, email support@tellyclass.com. We will reply within 30 days.

10. Security

Data travels to our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Lesson files are in private storage, and each account can read only its own lessons. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you about any breach that affects you as required by law.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
